Building runs in our family. It’s been passed down from one generation to the next.
As a teenager, I watched my father help build the Havoor factory in southern Fars, Iran. That’s where it started for me, and our family has now been in the trade for over fifty years.
My first jobs in Iran were varied. I worked on industrial sewage works and fitted heating and cooling systems. I also qualified in construction at a technical college there, roughly equal to an NVQ, and learned boiler installation, plumbing and even solar panel fitting.
